Poppy Nursing Services was born out of identifying a gap in the market for excellence in the temporary healthcare market, and as such, we were created to fill it. There’s a misconception that agency staff are expensive, lazy and disengaged – we work hard to dispel that idea, promoting our passionate, fully-trained and fully-vetted staff and placing them in locations that can often be hard to fill.

Here at Poppy Nursing Services, we’re happy to say that we have a number of long-term repeat clients, thanks in part to our high fulfilment rate. Having a healthy and direct line of communication with our clients is also integral to the way we work; we want to know how our staff are operating on the ground, and we have sanctions in place to ensure that they are working at their best and that shifts can’t be cancelled at the last moment.

Our staff are also fully-vetted beforehand. Both nurses and carers must complete mandatory training programmes as well as 1-to-1 consultations and a face-to-face interview with one of our recruitment team. Not only do we boast a wealth of passionate nurses and carers, we also cater to specialist fields such as Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and those requiring Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
