Poppy Nursing Services was created for nurses and carers, by nurses and carers.

We aren’t like other nursing and care agencies. Our team has spent years on the ground in both health and social care, and we understand what it takes to be on the front line of the care industry. It’s tough, it’s tiring, and sometimes it can be a thankless task, so we work hard to make sure that you’re given the respect, the time and the opportunities to make it worthwhile.

Rather than placing you into random, un-coordinated shifts around the UK, we will liaise with you directly to determine the shift patterns and locations that work for you. ‘Make your work, work around you’ – this is an ethos that underpins our shift booking system, and we know that you’ll likely have other things going on that will keep you busy. Whether you’re looking for a second source of income or for flexible hours to work around childcare or family commitments, here at Poppy Nursing we have a range of options available, from recurring shifts to as-and-when placements.
